By leveraging our experience with hundreds of XVR users, we have developed a standardised implementation plan. This provides you with a step-by-step guideline for the careful and effective integration of XVR in your organisation facilities and curriculum. These steps include:
Determine educational and technical requirements
Design and set-up the training facility
Specify, install and test the XVR soft- and hardware
TRAIN THE TRAINER
We want you to benefit from XVR from the start. That is why XVR Simulation offers specific training for your XVR instructors and training assistants. During the training sessions they learn the skills which are necessary for an optimal output from XVR.
In the training, an instructor gets acquainted with the educational and technological potential of XVR: setting up training objectives, developing incident scenarios and training in the use of XVR. You also learn how to set up and carry out virtual reality training on your own.
Helpdesk & hardware support
XVR Simulation’s support staff is ready to support and optimize your trainings and exercises.
From 8:00 to 22:00 ECT +1 the XVR Simulation Helpdesk is open for calls from all XVR users.
If your training computer is connected to the internet, we can also provide ‘remote assistance’. This means that XVR Simulation temporarily takes over the control of the computer to solve any problems.
TRAINING & CONSULTANCY
We offer support for both beginning and experienced users:
Courses and workshops
Instruction days following the introduction of new software versions
Design and installation of simulation suites
WORKSHOPS & WEBINARS
On a regular basis XVR Simulation organizes free XVR workshops. During these workshops, instructors get to know the potential of (new) scenarios and they are able to exchange lessons learned and best practices.
Webinars are also available via the XVR Community, currently in the Dutch, English and German languages.
USER GROUP MEETINGS
Each year XVR Simulation organizes user group meetings for its international user group in the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, Asia and the UK. During this event we present our new software development plans and XVR users are able to show each other how they train, teach and practice.
Our users meet each other in the XVR Community. Through various online and offline platforms, they share tips & best practices, and exchange scenarios and content. We frequently join the discussions, and use the feedback to further improve XVR and our supporting services.
Your purchase of XVR is only the beginning of our relationship. To make sure you maximize the benefits of XVR we offer comprehensive support before, during and after commissioning. We help install and set-up your simulation facility, train your instructors and implement XVR in your organisation and curriculum.
