Driven by passion for improving incident response capabilities
XVR Simulation started in 2000 under the name of E-Semble as a collaboration between experts in simulation technology, emergency services and education. Our joint vision was to harness VR as a training tool for improving the capabilities of incident responders. Since then, we have built a position as a leading developer of training software for safety and security professionals. We now operate under the name XVR Simulation.
OUR WORLDWIDE COMMUNITY
XVR is used by over 200 customers in 30 countries worldwide. XVR Simulation works in partnerships with national and international government agencies, research institutes and private companies.
In developing our software and our consultancy services, we operate according to four principles.
Keep it simple
Simple, pragmatic solutions often have more educational value than complex technology.
Content is key
The content, for example a learning target, is the most important aspect. Software choices are always second priority.
We develop our products for instructors
The products we develop must be easy to use. You don’t have to be a computer expert to use them.
You are the instructor, not us
You have years of experience in training and exercising emergency response staff. We will not ask you to throw away any of your knowledge. Our software has been designed as a support tool, and not to replace instructors or methods.
